Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 June 2026
This Cookie Policy describes how AVYAKTA AROHA LABS (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Tara marketing website (the “Site”). It supplements our Privacy Policy. For how the Tara mobile apps handle device storage and OS permissions, see the Privacy Policy and in-app disclosures. Reading public pages — today's daily horoscopes, dated archive pages (/horoscope/YYYY-MM-DD), and cosmic insights — does not require a Tara account; only the cookie categories below apply.
1. Data controller
AVYAKTA AROHA LABS, trading as Tara. Registered office: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and scripts that store or read identifiers. They may be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by analytics, advertising, or embedded content providers).
3. Categories we may use
3.1. Strictly necessary
Required for core Site operation: security, load balancing, remembering cookie consent choices, and similar functions. These are typically exempt from consent banners where the law allows “strictly necessary” exemptions.
3.2. Functional
Remember preferences you select (for example language or reduced motion) where we implement such features.
3.3. Analytics and performance
This marketing Site is intentionally minimal. We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this Policy, name each vendor, link to their policies, and obtain consent where required by law (including India's DPDP Act for non-essential processing).
3.4. Marketing and advertising
We do not run behavioural ad networks on this marketing Site. If we add conversion pixels, retargeting tags, or embedded social widgets that set cookies, we will update this Policy, name each vendor, link to their policies, and obtain consent where required before those tags load.
4. Legal bases and consent (India)
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, certain processing may rely on consent, legitimate uses, or other grounds specified in law. Non-essential cookies will not be used without a clear consent mechanism where the Act and future Data Protection Board guidance require it.
5. Retention
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Any persistent cookies we set (for example consent preferences) remain only as long as needed for their purpose, typically up to twelve (12) months.
6. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Site. If we deploy a consent banner, you may withdraw non-essential consent at any time through that UI without affecting lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
7. Do Not Track
There is no uniform industry response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We do not respond to DNT signals today because we do not use non-essential tracking cookies on this Site.
8. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add tools that set cookies. The “last updated” date at the top will change; material changes may also be linked from the Site footer or Privacy Policy.
